AUTOMATIC STREET LIGHT CONTROL CIRCUIT

AIM: TO CONTROL STREET LIGHT AUTOMATICALLY USING LDR.

INTRODUCTION:

Some time may happen that you forgot to switch on or off street light. With the help of this simple circuit you can control your street light automatically.

WHAT YOU NEED?

1) LDR (LIGHT DEPENDED RESISTANCE)

2) SPDT RELAY

3) 4.7k RESISTER

4) BC 558 PNP TRANSISTOR

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:

DESCRIPTION:

In above circuit you can see that 9V battery is directly connected with LDR. Now LDR is resistance which very according to intensity of light focusing on it. More light less resistance and less light more resistance. O/P of LDR is connected with BC558 transistor which amplify the signal coming from the LDR and gives to SPDT relay. When SPDT relay get the signal it switch from N/O to N/C.
